Charleston Defeats High Point 4-3  (Charleston, WV – August 30, 2024) – The Dirty Birds defeated the High Point Rockets 4-3 to win game one of the four game series. Charleston increases their lead to five games in the second half standings over High Point.  Stevie Ledesma started the game and no-hit the Rockers through the first six innings. He allowed two hits and three walks (on intentional) for two earned runs to score. Cristofer Ogando earned the win after relieving Ledesma in the sixth inning. Charleston Out-Hit Blue Crabs, But Still Fell Short (Charleston, WV – August 30, 2024) – 15 minutes into the ballgame on Thursday night, the game was delayed for almost three hours due to rain. This is the final series between Southern Maryland and Charleston, so the game needed to be completed. The nine inning contest resumed at 9:47pm and did not conclude until 12:55am on Friday morning.  The Dirty Birds used six pitchers in the loss. Charleston Scores Six Runs in the Eighth for the Win  (Charleston, WV – August 28, 2024) – The Dirty Birds score six runs in the eighth inning for the comeback win over the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs. Charleston trailed by five in the bottom of the eighth and scored six runs off of six hits while sending 10 batters to the plate.  Juan Santana drove in the tying run with a two-run double. David Lebron Throws Seven Scoreless Innings  (Charleston, WV – August 27, 2024) – The Dirty Birds kicked off their seven-game home stand with a 6-1 victory. Charleston starter David Lebron threw seven shutout innings to earn his seventh win of the year. He faced the minimum through six innings and only allowed two hits and two walks.  Keon Barnum had another game with multiple home runs. He drove in four of the Charleston runs with his two roundtrippers. He now leads the Atlantic League with 35 home runs, which is a West Virginia Professional Baseball single season record....

Fans Can Receive a Free Ticket by Donating Clothes (Charleston, WV – August 23, 2024) – The Charleston Dirty Birds and Dress for Success are partnering on Wednesday, August 28 to collect donations of women’s clothing. Each person who donates an item will receive a free ticket to that night’s game. Charleston Won Three of Four Games in Three Days Against the Rockers  (Charleston, WV – August 18, 2024) – The Dirty Birds hosted the Rockers for four games in three days this weekend. The first game of the double header was a completion from a postponed game on August 4th.
